Use this command to manually sort or re-order the palette. Rearrange the palette according to the way you want it and hit OK: the current palette will be set to the new order and the pixels will be remapped to this new order so that the image will still look the same. It is a way to manually sort the palette.
The palette box displays the current palette, rearranged.
To rearrange the palette, select a range of colors and drag them to where you want them to go and click. The selected range of colors will be removed from their original location and inserted before the color under the cursor. A flashing white line shows where the selected range of colors will be inserted.
• Hit the "Undo" button to undo the last arrangement change.
• Hit the "Revert" button to set the arrangement back to what it was on entry to the dialog.
• Hit the "No Arrange" button to put the palette back to it's original unarranged order.
• Normally you will click the "Rearrange Both" radio button. This rearranges both the pixel values and the palette values. To manipulate just the palette, click the "Rearrange Palette" button. To manipulate just the pixel values, click the "Rearrange Pixels" button.
Note: On entry to this dialog, the current palette will be displayed in the palette box rearranged according to the rearrangement you set up the last time you were in this dialog.
